Children obesity is a multi factorial condition continuously increasing in western countries in which familial, social and psychological factors play a role. Following the Cognitive Behavioral Theory the optimal approach needs the contemporary intervention of several experts in nutrition and mental health. The goal of the intervention is to identify and modify the specific factors involved in gaining weight.
