The case of Aurora, a patient who was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and previous panic disorder is discussed. Some hypotheses about the meanings of the symptoms of anxiety and its correlation with the history of the patient and the relational dynamics of the nuclear and extended family as well as her experience with the issue of motherhood are proposed. Following a systemic-relational approach offers a comprehensive family care and a multidisciplinary and integrated therapeutic intervention.
