The authors refer to a research study being done in the Centre for the treatment of anxiety and depression of the Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Milan, where clinical cases are treated by therapists with different kinds of theoretical training (psychodynamic, lacanian, cognitive-behavioural), and where the length of the psychotherapy is predetermined (eight sessions).
