In this commentary, the concept of Projective Identification is the lens through the Author looks at the clinical case of dott. Luci. Such Defense Mechanism allows a new possible understanding of the clinical material, with the aim of the construction of an intersubjective space between the patient and the analyst. Moreover it is also offered a discussion and a working though of the diagnostic evaluation regarding the patient’s psychic organization and life experiences.
