The paper present the results of the validation of a questionnaire aimed at investigating into attitudes towards child work by adolescents. Methodology. The questionnare "Attitudes towards child work" was administered to a 1474 adolescents (38% male, 62% female; mean age = 16; s. d.: 1.5) coming from Italian high school of Southern and Central Italy. The questionnaire is composed of 44 items, 5-point Likert scale, aimed at understanding perceptions and attitudes of respondents. Results. The principal component analysis was performed and six dimensions were extracted, explaining 44.36% of total variance. The six dimentions are: "attitudes towards light work"; "attitudes towards feasibly and opportunity to combine school and work"; "perceived support from social context", "perceived autonomy and self assessed capability of judgment". The confirmatory factor analysis, achieved through Structural Equation Models, confirmed the six-dimensional structure. The scales were assessed as reliable, with Cronbach’s alpha index varying from with. 67 to .81. Therefore, the validation of the questionnaire "Attitudes toward child work" was achieved.
