In June, 2011 a further revised edition of the "Noto Chart", i.e. "Guidelines for the exam of the child for sexual abuse", originally devised in 1996 and already revised in 2002, was drawn up, to match the development of norms and the increased scientific knowledge about this issue. The article presents some considerations about the investigation steps, the child’s witness and the good practices to enhance the reliability of interview. The need of skilled and really experienced "experts", and the appropriate training to achieve these expertise, are underlined.
