The author presents flashes of therapy sessions, individual and group, taken from his experience both as a therapist and as a supervisor. The flashes from sessions are alternated with his own reflections, thoughts, opinions. These reflections, that accompany the therapist during the sessions, demonstrate how much a therapist’s existential conception influences and orients him in his own clinical work

Keywords: Existential conception and psychotherapy, ethical responsibility, language and psychoanalysis, person, psychoanalysis as practice, clinical theory of Ruolo
