The author presents his talk held in a Conference organized by Piero Bevilacqua. In particular, he shows through a concise review of certain texts, his position regarding the neurosciences and shows how these texts, of mainly a philosophical and psychoanalytical derivation demonstrate what is for him the great limit of the neurosciences, and how for him it is purely illusory on the part of these to attempt arriving at explaining and understanding completely the human psyche
