This paper shows the various punctuations that have formed a relevant starting point for students of Psychology as well as a basic knowledge for professionals who deal with large areas and cross-cutting regarding the prevention, care, parenting support and policies for children and family. Through the study of Daniel Stern’s works, and in particular The First Relationship: Infant and Mother (1977), Diary of a baby (1990), Mother-infant interactions (1998) and Motherhood Constellation: A Unified View of Parent-Infant Psychotherapy (1995), the importance for the life and the early interactions as well as the clinical observation and intervention of parent-child relationship have gained awareness.
