The Italian Local Police performs numerous functions, specified by the national Laws and it has a new professional approach, due to the new technological tools and database, connected to the local police agencies and institutions. Today, the numerous databanks used and the systems interconnection are really effective for roadside checks thanks to PDAs, laptops and tablets, in performing daily activities.
