Migrant women face multiple forms of discrimination in accessing health services. Intercultural mediation services play a crucial role in tackling health inequalities among migrant women. This study investigates policies for tackling inequalities in accessing health services for migrant women in Italy, focusing on the implementation of intercultural mediation services in two regions: Emilia Romagna and Marche. The research shows a heterogeneous level of development in the regulative tools going beyond previous findings, bringing highly differentiated implementation processes to light. The research confirms the structural gap between the national policy and the overall regional regulations and implementations. In the Marche region, he lack of dedicated implemented policies for tackling inequalities in accessing health services for migrant women is not just an oversight due to the context of economic structural crises and the related reduction of resources, but it is an evident sign of institutional discrimination
