The policies of social and employment inclusion designed for young people in Europe take on characters and specificity vary different according to the model of welfare implemented in the considerate countries, whether these are intended as a national or local contexts. This is because the processes of Europeanisation and convergence of European politics are driven, on the one hand, by adaptive ‘push of regulatory nature’ that act on a national level in a more or less general way, and, on the other hand, by ‘push to autonomization’ of local governance on the choices made in the different areas of welfare. The study presented in order to shed light on these processes, adopt a geographical compared perspective of intra national and international levels, through which it intend to analyze the employment and social inclusion policies designed for young people and carried out in the concrete local realizations, or the projects of youth employment inclusion, in 9 local contexts and 5 countries.
Keywords: Social inclusion, employment inclusion, national welfare systems, networks of local governance, europeanization, community integration.
