The unconscious in the classroom (training situations). Psychoanalysis has long reflected on the processes by which, through sensory and protomental experiences, we build the symbolic structures that underpin our thinking. It has also made clear the difference between the unconscious, our emotions and capacity for self-reflection, which pivot on our ability to relate with reality, through which we foster our personal identity, knowledge and culture. In light of these studies, psychoanalytic theory can be usefully applied in the practice of training, despite the evident differences in setting and method.
Keywords: Protomental, desire, implicit relational unconscious knowledge
