The contribution of Sándor Ferenczi’s clinic to a reflection on the educational practices in the contemporary. This article gives an account of the work of Sándor Ferenczi, a Hungarian psychoanalyst of the first generation, a close friend and collaborator of Freud, who was a trailblazer in the history of psychoanalysis spanning a century. He brought to light the education theory, rooted in Freudian philosophy and clinical practice, to give an evidence of its revolutionary potentials, the limitations and collusions with educational devices of that time. Its adherence to the experimental matrix of the therapeutic process allows him to draw the outlines of a new education, subtracted from the moral education of his time and driven by a relational knowledge that enhances the vital human strength. His contribution, so radical and original, allows rereading his work as a living testimony, able to answer the questions that link, even today, the educational practices of parents, educators and teachers to their unconscious life experiences.
