The good results that Italy has achieved in the development of green energy in the recent years can be attributed mostly to incentive policies assigned into res (renewable energy sources) and especially into photovoltaic. Nevertheless, in 2013 there has been a significant fall due to elimination of subsidies in renewable energy sector. The aim of the article is to analyse the current legislative and business framework in the photovoltaic industry within the res national market, considering the effects produced by the previous incentive system as well as to highline the growing opportunities even in the absence of above-mentioned support tools.
Keywords: Photovoltaic, incentives, efficient user system
