The connections between law and economics rules can be studies in different ways and methodologies. In his researches, which are summarized in the book on "The Future of Law and Economics", Guido Calabresi prefers to study law considering also, but not limiting to, the economical rules, the environment, the solutions obtained by public institutions and social policies. His approach is therefore different compared to the one generally know as "Economic Analysis of Law" by which the economic rules, taking into account their positive or negative impacts on market, as if the law rules were to follow the economic rules.
