In this article, a model for designing a therapeutic project with immigrant families is presented. This aspect is a part of a broader psychotherapy model that considers as points of reference: the importance of culture and networking. The keys points in this work are: the transition from a referred diagnosis, to a relational diagnosis, meaning that it has a meaning within the nuclear, multigenerational and cultural dynamics of that family; and the importance of sharing a therapeutic project. It is considered a focal point, sharing, not only with the family, but also with social actors, when involved in management or simply refereeing in clinical treatment immigrant families. A complex case is also described, in which different services are being into it, and which was sent compulsorily by the Court in therapy.
Keywords: Immigration, culture, relational diagnosis, therapeutic project, collaborative network, children.
