New forms of communication have not produced only positive social implications, but these also became a kind of violence’s tool. Internet has definitely changed the modus operandi et vivendi of institutions and citizens, but also of those who are performing criminal activities. Recent criminological studies show how the new phenomena of crime among young people, like bullying, is emerging. In particular, in this article we are going to analyze the cyber-gangs phenomenon Increasingly often the young gangs are using in a strategic way social networking to build and to reinforce their identity, to define paths of micro-celebrities and to distribute photos/videos of conflicts, tortures and murders.
