The author suggests the importance of linking the theoretical concepts used habitually in the clinic to the original sensorimotor gestures (echopraxias) which are found both in oneiric personifications and in the plasticity of artisanal practices. After the "linguistic breakthrough", these gestures can be adequately recognised in what language philosophers define as the "grammar of ordinary language" (Wittgenstein, Austin, Cavell) and particularly in dialectal poetry ("i mistieròi", in Andrea Zanzotto). The author sums up his own institutional experience in the "group reconstruction of the clinical case" (Rcg), attributing an important function to what Bion defines as "interceding personifications". These play an intermediary connecting role between work group language and family speech, so that the expressive spontaneity of the "mental health workers" is implemented in both the environments of their activity.
Keywords: Improvisation, jazz, migrations, inter-subjective matrix, interceding personifications.
