The work begins with a wide-angle view of the inside of a mental health centre (CSM), introducing the relations and oscillations in the functioning of the multiple settings and the functioning of the suffering psychisms, with reference to the top of the psychotherapeutic experts of a Community Service. It continues by pointing out the usefulness and the difficulties of using the undifferentiated, impalpable elements produced by individual patients and individual workers for treatment inside a "Service House". Our proposal, the pivotal element of the whole paper, is to consider the "group tool" in both the treatment and the work groups as a probe for exploring the complexity of the undifferentiated elements. The articulation of this group tool considers the relationships and transitions among the single spaces, their leftovers and their storage spaces; the possibility that a space possesses a specific unconscious; but also the culture of a treatment group and the model it refers to. This articulation starts from conceptual considerations distilled through experience, it connects with the clinical material of a treatment group and its model of conduction, then returns to other conceptual considerations, which might be represented by the image of "Wild strawberries", understood as a metaphor of change (Bergman’s film) and the undifferentiated elements which, like wild strawberries, can emerge unpredictably anywhere.
