The article critically addresses the issue of the special and exclusive jurisdictions that the Italian Parliament and other constitutional bodies exercise in many different types of disputes, normally subject to the jurisdiction of courts. In particular, the Author fully illus-trates the interpretations made so far by scholars, the Italian Court of Cassation and Constitutional Court, and also carries out some reflections of comparative law, urging a revision of the most widespread convictions about the survival of these particular and exceptional exclusive jurisdictions.
Keywords: Access to justice; Italian Parliament’s and other constitutional bodies exclusive jurisdictions; linkages between different jurisdictions; doctrines of the Italian High Courts; critical issues.
