Climate is the condition for organic and social life on the planet. And yet such an important issue has been ignored or assumed as immutable. Anthropocene is about a radical shift in human history. For the first time human time becomes part of the planet’s time, and human history becomes entangled with natural history. Climate change compels us with a different notion of time, the climate’s time. In such a scenario, we should design in a long present, charged with past traces and seeds of future.
