This paper examines work organisation and its development in the context of the ongoing transformations resulting from technological and demographic factors, which challenge the three Aristotelian rules of work. In this sense, new work settings, innovative forms of employment and co-working facilities make the distinction between work and family life increasingly blurred, thus potentially giving rise to new psychosocial risks and issues. Based on these considerations, the paper looks at innovative management practices, adopting an interdisciplinary approach that brings together seemingly distant fields - viz. employee health and safety and occupational welfare. There is no doubt that the phenomena examined affect business organisation. However, their effects can be managed by referring to the notion of "Organisational Health", which is part of the Organisation and Management Model laid down in Legislative Decree no. 231/2001, which considers company changes and the need to strike a balance between efficiency and organisational wellbeing.
Keywords: Organisation model, healt; security, industry 4.0, organisational wellbeing.
