"REHA Ticino" is a voluntary rehabilitation network that operates within a system, which is regulated by the public authority. With a case study analysis, a participatory and direct observation, and a survey, the authors aim at: presenting the foundation process of "REHA Ticino"; highlighting the convergence and/or divergence elements with other healthcare networks; and attesting the efficacy of the network leadership and knowledge management logics. After a brief literature review about healthcare networks, the case study "REHA Ticino" is presented; the analysis of the experience coming from Ticino highlighted the fact that the service culture, linked with the network leadership logic, can certainly represent a success factor for the governance and the strategic coordina tion of a public-private healthcare network.
Keywords: Rehabilitation sector, healthcare network, public-private partnership, network management, strategic management, network leadership.
