An O.D. case history with the psychosocioanalytic approach in an small entrepreneurial company. Topics of this article are the skills, the approach, the difficulties in starting the consul-tancy process, the complexity of the entrepreneur compared to the managerial figure, of consultancy in firms managed by entrepreneurial families. The second part relates to a case of a small industrial company in the metallurgical sector, where the transition from father to sons had led to strong jolts with an impact on the motivation and the engagement of everyone. The intervention starts with interviews and mirroring feedback bought a new form of dialogue between the property and collaborators. Since then, some training sessions followed and periodic meetings held for discussion and reciprocal listening, with a positive impact on the organizational climate and on the life of the company. A final point regards the possibility of "clinical" O.D. interventions in dynamic and complex companies, but small in size and how the initial doubts of the consultant have been overcome by confirming the application possibil-ities and the potential usefulness of this approach.
