The paper explores the connection between active development methodologies and research methodologies within the post-qualitative research paradigm. The shared assumption is that there is no learning without action and that collaboration is one of the epistemological conditions that can facilitate the construction of a rigorous and at the same time relevant knowledge for practices. The paper will then deepen the transdisciplinary nature of collaborative educational research approaches, providing specific examples of constructs and methodologies that are placed on the border between active development methodologies and research methodologies.
