This issue collects a number of recent abstracts exploring different features of hypnosis and its use in clinical and research settings. In particular, this selection contains studies (with a robustness ranging from pilot study to RCT), application in medical field (i.e. sleep, cancer treatment) and speculative articles conveying as a whole seminal and up-to-date knowledge about the neurobiological nature of hypnosis, as well as some important data from a neuro-imaging, neuro-physiological and neuro-phenomenic perspective.
