This paper aims to highlight the main characteristics of the agri-food sector in the Campania region. The results show a mixed picture, made of lights and shadows. Besides excellent products appreciated and recognized nationally and internationally, also due to the archaeological and artistic richness of the territory, structural weaknesses emerge in the agrifood business in the Campania Region. However, over the last few years, interesting dynamics of growth and innovation have emerged, starting with a greater presence of young entrepreneurs, who seem to represent key drivers for an improvement of the sector.
