This contribution collects some brief testimonials from high school and university students, who have dealt with distance learning methods during the pandemic. The testimonies focus on the pros and cons of this modality, and on the subjective experiences in relation to the current pandemic and to the changes it required to the normal course of teaching.and non fideistic conception of the power of science and its advances.
