The authors introduce The Teatrando Project: a bridge of connections, a territorial and communitarian experience that has been lasting for almost 20 years; today the authors describe the project stimulated by the innovative ideas of contemporary welfare. A contribution referring to field experiences and good practices that see, at a methodological level, the combination of social theater with a Gestalt gaze. The protagonists participating in the Teatrando Project are not only individuals, but also groups who, thanks to the experience of theater, experiment and train in different and new forms of active citizenship. It is an example of creativity and social responsibility, participation, conception, activation of local informal welfare systems. Furthermore, the description of this experience in evolutionary terms has led the authors to take into consideration the factors of change taking place following the health emergency: how have theater practices been remodeled in having to use technological tools and long-distance relationships?
Keywords: connections; bridge; social theatre; Gestalt; community; well-being.
