The Re Lambro feasibility study for the system of open spaces and the ecological network of the urban valley of the Lambro River in Milan, designed starting from 2012, focused on the theme of the river in the city, and generated several design initiatives and interventions along the course of the river and in the eastern area of Milan. Promoted by ersaf, together with the Politecnico di Milano, the Municipality of Milan and other partners with funding from Cariplo Foundation, the feasibility study became part of the river contracts strategy coordinated by the Lombardy Region and represented a relevant field of experimentation and observation of the management methods promoted by the same regional policy, as well as their limits and potential.
