The article analyzes the results of the latest elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the con- text of more than three decades of the affirmation of nationalist-inspired parties that led the country to conflict and are the main reason for its current politicalinstitutional and economic-social paralysis. Neither the miraculous prospects not realized, nor the resounding failures in all fields has still deprived these parties of an important popular consensus. What the result, almost thirty years after the end of the conflict, the country is divided into ethnically homogeneous territories, without efficient common institutions and with a predominantly assisted economy while experiencing unprecedented emigration rates.
