Iginio Rogger (1919-2014) met Hubert Jedin during his studies in Rome in the 1940s. Between the two, a fruitful scientific and organisational collaboration was established and a friendship characterised by strong mutual esteem developed. The correspondence kept in Rogger’s archive provides insight into the various stages of this relationship.
