The authors present qualitative evidence from the evaluation of the “Cambio Rotta” program, which is financed by the “Fondo per il contrasto alla povertà educativa”. The program aims to prevent and reduce deviant behaviours among minors through alternative justice practices. The reflection focuses on two central dimensions that characterize the action of the Juvenile Justice System and the not-for-profit sector: the construction of better collaborations between actors in the territory and the engagement of the project staff in the development of flexible and multidisciplinary interventions. The paper presents the results of two evaluation activities that foster reflection on the operational strategies implemented, as well as the main challenges and opportunities that arise during intervention implementation.
Keywords: Juvenile criminal justice; third Sector; territorial services; Theory of Change; reflective practice.
