The psychotherapeutic treatment of cocaine addiction has undergone signifi cant transformations over time, moving from theoretical models rooted in psychoanalysis to psychotherapeutic interventions based on a more recent constructivist cognitive approach.This article aims to examine the historical evolution of therapeutic approaches, emphasizing the theoretical and methodological differences and discussing the clinical implications of the various perspectives.
