On March 20, 2025, the AIA-UNI symposium “The evolution of technical standards in acoustics: latest updates” was held at the UNI headquarters in Milan. The symposium was jointly organized by AIA and UNI with the specific aim of updating experts in acoustics and in particular AIA members and UNI members on the hot topics of Italian standards. This article provides an account of the scientific activities that took place during the Symposium.
