On 30 January 2025, the International Symposium “Innovative Materials in Acoustics: Between Sustainability and Technology”, jointly organised by AIA Giovani and the Department of Industrial Engineering of Bologna, was held in Bologna. The event involved students, researchers and companies to explore innovative and sustainable acoustic solutions such as recycled and bio-based materials and metamaterials. The day included scientific presentations, professional testimonials and an intensive networking session with speed dating between young people and companies. The initiative promoted exchange between research and industry, with a strong focus on innovation, careers and sustainability.
