The illustrated project presents the experience of the Alessandria University Hospital in its journey of innovation and digital transformation of healthcare processes, with the goal of improving the delivery of care services.The initiative specifically aims to maximize the adoption of the Electronic Medical Record by promoting more comprehensive use of the digital platform, following a pathway focused on enhancing adoption and enabling the specialized records available within the application, with readiness for the future pharmacotherapy module.The implementation process required an initial analysis phase to assess the starting situation, followed by the collection of requirements through a period of on-site support in the hospital wards, leading to the accurate and precise configuration of the application’s product functionalities.The final collection and analysis of KPIs provides feedback on the achievement of the objective and opens the way for reflections on the methodology and future challenges.
