Intensity of care hospital model is an organizational pattern which aims to ensure sustainability of the system, considering epidemiological transition, dynamics of technological innovation, patient-citizen centrality, social imperative of quality of care, limited availability of resources and need for efficient use of resources. Mauriziano Hospital of Turin today promotes a new project to implement further the intensity of care model in the whole hospital: the project will be conducted and completed in 2013-2015. The objective of this paper is describing reorganization project and relative implementation.
