The overall results of various research corroborates a perspective for which the child relational trauma has significant effects on various areas of child development. In a nutshell, the lack of security role "normally" played by parental figures makes it more reactive to stress by exposing children to even more damage to the central nervous system. In addition, traumatic experiences lead to incompetence on the socio-emotional difficulties and specific processes of memory.
