The author, who works in the public service as the head of a "Consultorio" in Naples, is examining the complexity of psychotherapy by law. She is pointing out the increasing intensity of transference and countertransference processes in these situations. In this case, it is necessary to activate a reflection on the psychotherapist and on those who are obliged to follow psychotherapy. It is also very important that the judge and the court are not seen as a body which is passing a sentence but as active members in this process. The work is followed by a brief clinical case.
