This article presents a couples therapy technique created by combining stream of consciousness with a meditation from Hindu Tantrism. Examples of changes in the group of couples with whom it was applies is given. The technique is designed to support awareness at the contact-boundary between the partners in an intimate relationship and to re-establish novelty and balance in the relationship. The changes produced in the participants with respect to sexual dysfunction confirm that contact is therapeutic, in accordance with the ideas of gestalt therapy. The contactboundary as the point of contact between the individual and the environment as well as the place of suffering of the couple’s sexual relationship must also be seen as the point of contact of the two partners.
Keywords: Gestalt psychopathology, sexual dysfunction, couple, meditation.
