The objective of the present study is to investigate the relationship between chronic diseases and sexuality, taking into account the fact that chronic diseases are often associated with problems of a sexual nature, in general underestimated and undiagnosed. To identify adequate and efficient modes of intervention by clinicians, relationship aspects and couple dynamics have also been considered. The following clinical conditions have been examined: Multiple Sclerosis, chronic renal diseases, chronic pulmonary diseases, rheumatic and cardiovascular diseases.
