This article proposes a reading of the depressive experiences that could be experienced by many teenagers and that are often placed on the edge between "physiology" and psychopathological risk. The phenomenological aspect is defined against the background of cultural and developmental meanings, according to the theory of self of Gestalt therapy. The theoretical perspective is followed by some suggested directions of psychotherapeutic support.
