The article examines Enzo Collotti’s research on the persecution of Jews in Europe, and his role in promoting studies on the topic in the context of the fiftieth anniversary of the 1938 racial laws. This interest characterized Collotti’s studies from the very start, and intersected research and translation activities with an interest in international historiographical debates and teachers’ training.
