La transizione energetica in Grecia è al centro di un dibattito circa le prospettive di transizione ecologica e del lavoro. Questo articolo propone un'etnografia collaborativa sviluppata tra un ricercatore e un minatore sindacalista per indagare le strategie politiche del sindacato "Labour Solidarity" (Solidarietà del lavoro) nel contesto della transizione energetica nella Macedonia occidentale. Utilizzando un corpus di dati diversificato, i co-ricercatori esplorano come il sindacato rappresenta i diversi tipi di ingiustizie che la transizione energetica in atto nella Macedonia occidentale comporta. Gli autori riflettono sulle diverse sfaccettature dell'ambientalismo del lavoro per evidenziare la connessione tra la tutela della salute, dei diritti dei lavoratori e dell'ambiente nelle rivendicazioni sindacali e la loro rappresentazione come richieste interconnesse. Particolare attenzione sarà dedicata alla duplice interpretazione sindacale dell'eliminazione della lignite come precarizzazione del lavoro e degrado ambientale. .
