Talking about of ‘adjectivized cities’ alludes to the very notion of n-Cities, dealing with the complex and multilevel condition of today’s urban organism, which includes new types of systemic relations whose degree of informational interaction is increasingly accentuated. This issue includes the outcomes of a research with a ‘qualitative’ vocation, like the same semantic definitions which the single articles refer: these definitions are crucial in the knowledge diffusion by recognizing, encoding and decoding, translating and transferring (holistically, but also selectively) not only some of the different ‘faces’ with which the ‘multifaceted’ and ‘polyform’ dimension of the new urban organism is revealed, but above all some of its properties and criticalities, capacities or potentialities.
