Editorial. Current parenting pathways - Both from the clinical and research perspective, this is a very interesting issue which concerns the history of the individual, of the couple and of the family in their relationships with all the social networks, from schooling up to health and judicial structures. The contributions that can be found in this issue of the journal focus the attention on the conditions necessary to develop a symbolic and experiential mental pathway of becoming parents. Moreover, attention is also paid to parenting disorders and risks, especially at a time when parenting is becoming increasingly more complex. Com-plexity makes the solutions traditionally used in family care inadequate and insufficient, to the extent of weakening family ties. Key words: parenting, family care, family fragility
