L’imprenditorialità è una competenza chiave nell’ambito del quadro europeo considerata un potente volano della crescita economica, dell’innovazione e dell’emancipazione sociale. Il contributo presenta le risultanze di un’indagine esplorativa, condotta all’interno del Corso di sviluppo professionale DidaSco La progettazione europea nella scuola dell’autonomia (2019/2020). L’indagine, condotta attraverso la somministrazione di un questionario elaborato secondo l’European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework EntreComp (Bacigalupo et al., 2016), mira a comprendere le rappresentazioni degli insegnanti sulle competenze imprenditoriali del docente e sulle variabili che agevolano lo sviluppo dell’imprenditorialità a scuola, oltre che a individuare i bisogni di formazione percepiti dai docenti. I risultati mostrano l’importanza di costruire ecosistemi multidimensionali di apprendimento. Si avverte inoltre la necessità di valorizzare il ruolo del Dirigente scolastico nel supportare l’educazione imprenditoriale come processo di sviluppo dell’intero contesto scolastico.
