The article discusses specific uses that audiences realize with television series, particularly those that include stories, characters, or fields related to the theme of fashion. The element of "fashion" appears as something new: he took his own autonomy from the idea of "costume" and has acquired a significant role within the narrative media. The basic hypothesis is that fashion (and clothing) can be seen as a meta-narrative level, able to attract specific audiences interested not only to the stories told in the series, but also to fashion discourses, to outfits of the characters, to possible worlds (not so distant from reality) that there are shown and performed.
